The courtesy boat ramp docks, located at the State Park's three-lane boat launch, are now installed and ready for public use. Overflow boat trailer parking is available in lots #4 and #5 in the event that the the boat launch lot is full. Parking on the grass is prohibited.
Repairs to the Adam T. Bower Memorial Inflatable Dam are now complete. Lake Augusta will be at full pool until early October 2022.
Warning: The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania’s resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. Shikellamy State Park
Shikellamy State Park is in Union and Northumberland counties. The 54-acre Shikellamy Marina is on the southern tip of Packers Island at the confluence of the West Branch and North Branch Susquehanna River, and offers hiking and biking trails, a marina, and boat launch.
The 78-acre Shikellamy Overlook is on the western shore of the Susquehanna River. A 360-foot cliff overlooks the confluence of the branches of the Susquehanna River.
Seasons and Hours
The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.

From US 15, the overlook is reached by following County Line Road east for 2.3 miles to the park entrance road.
From US 11, the overlook is reached by traveling west on County Line Road for about 0.25 mile to the park entrance road.

The two overlooks on Shikellamy Overlook are 360 feet above the river confluence. They offer spectacular views of Sunbury, Northumberland, and the surrounding areas.
In Shikellamy Marina, Kury Point provides a scenic view of Lake Augusta and the river.
