What happens to my application once it is submitted?

The information is entered onto a file in our Computer Referral System to await a suitable vacancy for which you may be referred.

How long is my application kept on file?

Your application will be maintained on file for one year. At the end of that time, it will automatically become inactive. It will be necessary to submit an updated internship application at that time. This is done to give you the opportunity to update your application with any education or experience you may have gained during the year which may qualify you for additional positions.

How do I update information on my active file?

If your employment, education, or desired type of work changes since your original application was submitted less than one year ago, contact DCNR’s Bureau of Human Resources. Be prepared to share personal identification information.
