Boating at Laurel Hill State Park
Electric motors only; slow, no-wake speed
The 63-acre Laurel Hill Lake has 30 mooring sites and two boat launches.
An additional non-powered boat launch is in Trent Picnic Area; and is part of a six-mile water trail that ends at an improved take out at the historic Kings Covered Bridge.
Boat Registration
Motorboats must display a current boat registration.
Non-powered boats must display one of the following:
- Boat registration
- Launch permit or mooring permit from Pennsylvania state parks -- available at most state park offices
- Launching use permit from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission
Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.
Boat Rental
Available Memorial Day through Labor Day, a boat rental at the beach has:
- Rowboats
- Paddleboats
- Canoes
- Kayaks
- Hydrobikes
- Stand-up paddleboards
