The Gallitzin State Forest offers approximately 12 miles of trails that are open to horseback riding. The trail head is located at the intersection of Buffalo Road and State Route 56, approximately 1 mile east of Ogletown. The trail head has sufficient room to park trailers. This is a day-use facility and overnight camping is not permitted. From the trail head follow Buffalo Road north to the County Line Trail. Once you are on the County Line Trail, there are several different loops that can be accessed depending on how long of a ride you wish to take. The County Line Trail is shared by hikers and mountain bikers.
